Modeling For Clarity - Full Day Workshop

from 200.00

July 18, 2019 from 9am - 4pm

$800 Professional
$200 Student (with ID)

A full-day workshop in Grand Rapids with Joe Elmendorf and Kaarin Hoff, who’ll show you how to make the complex clear with a variety of modeling techniques.

Project teams are working in problem spaces that are more complex than ever before. Cross-channel ecosystems, huge enterprise platforms, and decentralized content delivery are just a few of the contemporary challenges people working in digital today need to understand, and gain direction around with stakeholders, before diving into the particulars of interfaces. But how can we co-operate on architecture without the entanglements of design detail?

In a word: Modeling.

Who this workshop is meant for

TUG’s modeling workshop is for anyone who faces complex problems, from novice to expert. Those at both ends of this spectrum say this workshop provides valuable experience and useful take-aways.

After completing our practical, hands-on intensive modeling workshop, teams will be able to take messy inputs and work through them, using modeling as a tool to increase understanding.

What else is there to do in Grand Rapids?

On the evening of July 17th, immediately following the Aligning Stakeholders workshop, TUG is hosting a free architecture walk that workshop attendees are especially welcome to take part in.
